USF to confer more than 6,400 degrees during commencement ceremonies

The University of South Florida will award more than 6,400 degrees during spring commencement this weekend.

The ceremonies include recipients of approximately 4,843 undergraduate, 1,295 master’s and 297 doctoral degrees.

The undergraduate class includes 95 students graduating with a 4.0 GPA, 224 student veterans and individuals from all 50 states and 100 countries. The youngest graduate, 18, is earning a bachelor’s in psychology. The oldest graduate, who is 68 years old, is receiving a bachelor’s in nursing.

USF President Rhea Law will preside over all ceremonies, which will be held at the Yuengling Center on the Tampa campus starting May 6.
