Hillsborough Sheriff’s office partners with Shooters World on gun safety

by The 100 Companies

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister has partnered with Shooters World to offer free firearms safety training for residents in preparation for the upcoming Constitutional Carry law, effective July 1.

Although concealed carry classes will no longer be required, Sheriff Chronister believes gun safety education is vital to reducing accidental discharges, injuries and fatalities.

The classes are available every day and can be accessed via shootersworld.com (discount code is HCSO). Additionally, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is distributing free trigger locks and/or single-firearm vaults to course participants and those in need, which can be obtained by contacting their Community Outreach Division.
