The Pinellas County Tax Collector’s office raised $8,070 in March for Cindy’s Pets, a charity that helps seniors care for their pets.
Available to seniors in the Meals on Wheels program, Cindy’s Pets has provided food for their pets for 14 years, to ensure those individuals aren’t sacrificing their own nutrition to care for their four-legged companions.
The Pasco TC Gives program raises funds to support local charities through its primary program, “Charity of the Month.” Donations come largely from Tax Collector customers interested in supporting local causes.
The March donations bring the total raised for Cindy’s Pets to $36,000.
