Suncoast Credit Union is re-upping, and expanding, its “Every Hit is a Win with Suncoast” program, which donates money to a nonprofit organization every time a Tampa Bay Rays player gets a base hit.
The program provides $90 – in honor of the credit union’s 90th anniversary – per base hit, up to $10,000 per month. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay and ZooTampa are the first two beneficiaries of the season.
New this season is a home run incentive with Randy Arozarena to benefit his international foundation with $590 when he gets a base hit and $1,180 for a home run.
