Propeller Club and Port Tampa Bay partner to host Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful’s 4th Annual ‘Great Port Clean-Up’

Port Tampa Bay and the Propeller Club of Tampa Bay will be presenting sponsors for this year’s “Great Port Clean-Up,” an annual event by Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful.

The event, held this year on April 26 throughout Tampa Bay, will deploy volunteers to collect trash and remove invasive plants, among other clean-up activities.

Last year, 851 volunteers removed nearly 80,000 pounds of trash and 30,000 pounds of invasive plants.

The event won the American Association of Port Authorities’ Lighthouse Award of Excellence for Environmental Enhancement in 2021.

Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful honored Port Tampa Bay in 2022 for its environmental work.
