Keep Collier Beautiful will host the 39th Annual International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 21. In 2023, nearly 1,000 volunteers registered and contributed more than 3,000 hours to cleaning up litter and debris from 17 locations.

The communitywide cleanup will be on more than a dozen beaches and canals throughout Collier County. The organization is currently seeking volunteer site captains who would like to include a nearby beach or waterway. Prospective site captains should email me here.

A final list or locations will be announced by Thursday, Aug. 15. Volunteers who wish to join in the event should register at keepcollierbeautiful.com.
