Winner: Tampa business start-ups. WalletHub ranked Tampa No. 10 in its list of best cities to start a business. Oh, OK, so Orlando was No. 1, Miami was No. 2 and Jacksonville was No. 7, but a top 10 finish in this list is still pretty good. And we finished ahead of almighty Austin (No. 11) . So there!
Loser: Pasco sports training facility. The proposed $35 million Sports Training and Youth Tournament Complex made the Florida TaxWatch annual turkey list. The Tampa Bay Times also reported the facility could be used as a new spring training home for the Tampa Bay Rays.
