By Tuesday night, the Tampa Bay Rays could be forgiven losing track of the records they were setting.
With an 7-2 win over the Boston Red Sox, the Rays grew their record to 11-0, becoming just the fourth team since 1901 to begin a season with 11 straight wins. At a 63-run differential, the Rays are also the best modern team through 11 games, according to Bleacher Report.
The team won their first nine games of the season by four or more runs, setting the longest such streak since the New York Yankees did the same in 10 games in 1939.
