Visiting loved ones in person, attending in-person church services and planning an Easter egg hunt are hitting post-pandemic outbreak highs this year, according a recent Florida Retail Federation’s news release.
Nationally, American shoppers are planning to spend up to $20.8 billion this year for the Easter holiday, according to the Florida Retail Federation. That’s an average of $167.69 per shopper, the federation’s national arm found.
Scott Shalley, president and CEO of the Florida Retail Federation, urges celebrants to “find it in Florida.”
“By shopping local during the Easter season, you help support small businesses in your community,” Shalley said.
