Florida Polytechnic University rising senior John Lowery is feeling right at home in his second summer internship with Mercedes-Benz Vans, where he’s working as a business analyst intern implementing cloud technology into everyday operations at the company’s South Carolina location.
“I’m learning a lot about the business aspect of computer science as opposed to the programming parts,” said Lowery, who is from Charleston. “I’m getting to experience professional development and do deployments in real time.”
Lowery said his education at Florida Poly provides a foundation for his internships and he looks forward to applying lessons learned to the real world.
