Florida Polytechnic University began its international Fulbright program when the school opened 10 years ago, and its involvement in the program has not only grown but has delivered both professional and academic success for student and faculty participants.

The school has hosted 22 international Fulbright Fellows, Killam Fellows, Senior Scholars and Charlemagne Prize Fellows from seven countries. Five Florida Poly students have studied in Canada and one faculty member worked internationally as a Fulbright Specialist.

Fulbright scholars are widely successful, and some have gone on to serve as heads of state or win prestigious prizes, such as the Nobel Prize.
