Duke Energy’s partnership with Florida Polytechnic University is increasing talent in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The partnership supports the university, while building a talent pipeline for Florida Polytechnic. Duke has invested more than $350,000 into school programs since the partnership’s inception in 2017, with $50,000 this year going toward a Presidential Speaker Series.
Florida Polytechnic named a lab after Duke in honor of its support.
“Duke Energy not only expands horizons for our students, but also demonstrates that the prestigious companies they aspire to work for are equally invested in their future,” Florida Polytechnic President Devin Stephenson said.
