As students at Florida Polytechnic University began classes Aug. 20, they might not have noticed they were joined by a record number of new students.
The school posted record-setting enrollment numbers this fall with more than 1,770 new students, a 10% increase over last year and four percentage points higher than projected.
The school attributes the increase to a strong final enrollment push over the first weeks of the new academic year.
“As we continue to push the boundaries of innovation and foster growth, we look forward to seeing these students thrive,” said Florida Polytechnic University President Dr. Devin Stephenson.
