Downtown St. Pete to light up waterfront for 4th of July

Downtown St. Petersburg will be hosting a Fourth of July fireworks show on the Bayshore waterfront.

Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9 p.m., but can start as early as 8:30 p.m., depending on weather. The show can be viewed from multiple parks along Bayshore Drive and North Shore Drive. The event, hosted by the city, is free to the public.

The St. Pete Pier will also be hosting activities, including a craft beer garden, food trucks, vendors and live music. The St. Pete Run the 4th 5K will start the day at 7 a.m. near Spa Beach.
