Bucs player changes mind on vaccine after doctors address concerns

The football field is not the only place where the Tampa Bay Bucs running back Leonard Fournette is shifty. He showed he can change directions quickly off the field as well.

Two days after tweeting that he would never take the COVID-19 vaccination, he told reporters he will now consider getting the shot.

Coach Bruce Arians has brought in doctors to speak individually to players about their concerns, and Fournette said he plans to take advantage of that.

The NFL mandated that unvaccinated players must follow strict virus protocols. The league also threatened teams with forfeits over potential COVID-19 outbreaks.
