Tampa Bay Buccaneers have anti-COVID-19 vax player

by The 100 Companies

The Buccaneers may have their first controversy of the new season. Tailback Leonard Fournette signaled his unwillingness to take the COVID-19 vaccine, tweeting: “Vaccine I can’t do it……”

He later removed the tweet, but the message is clear.

While the NFL won’t require players to get vaccinated, the league is considering making teams forfeit games if virus outbreaks among unvaccinated players cause them to delay playing.

Last year, the NFL was more accommodating, allowing multiple teams to postpone and reschedule games because of positive virus tests.

The League also is considering restricting unvaccinated players from some contact with vaccinated teammates.
