The Tampa Bay Lightning have yet another chance Wednesday night to clinch the Stanley Cup. They host the Montreal Canadiens at Amalie Arena in Game 5 of the Cup finals.
The Lightning lead 3 games to 1 following a 3-2 overtime loss Monday in Montreal.
Before that game, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor said she’d like to see the Bolts lose one game in Montreal so home fans could see them win the Cup.
Still, the odds are stacked strongly in Tampa Bay’s favor. Only four teams in NHL history have come back from a 3-0 series deficit, and none since 1942.
