St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital announced a $50 million donation from the Pagidipati family to support the future of pediatric health care in the Tampa Bay area. Business leader and philanthropist Sidd Pagidipati made the donation on April 10, honoring his parents’ legacy as health care providers, their 50th wedding anniversary and their 50th anniversary of coming to the U.S.

The gift supports the new pediatric facility for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, part of a strategic effort to increase the region’s access to high-quality health care for children. The “Pagidipati Children’s Hospital at St. Joseph’s” is scheduled to open by 2030.
