The Tampa Bay Lightning went down 0-1 in the Stanley Cup semifinal series Sunday afternoon after a nail-biter final minute in Tampa that saw the team score a six-on-four goal, with ace goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy pulled and the Lightning on a power play.
But the team failed to score a second game-tying goal that would have sent the game into overtime against the New York Islanders.
Sluggish from the get-go, the Lightning now look to Game 2 at Amalie Arena Tuesday to tie the series at one apiece on the quest for a second straight championship season.
