Forget the grill this Memorial Day and visit the Ford Cuban Sandwich Festival in Ybor City to indulge in contest samples from around the world. The Duck Dive Food Truck, a non-traditional entry from Japan, and Gordo’s Good Eats from Texas will be on hand, with winners advancing to compete in the World Championship in Tampa.
The celebration includes an attempt at making a record-breaking 350-foot Cuban sandwich, which’ll be donated to a homeless shelter to feed 700+ people. The free event includes live music and entertainment, and you can register to win a chance at a VIP judging seat.
