by The 100 Companies

The latest evidence of Tampa General Hospital’s commitment to transformation through innovation is seen in the 9-1-1 integrated drone delivery system installed at Manatee County Public Safety.

The technology, designed and implemented by Archer First Response Systems, delivers life-saving devices to 9-1-1 callers in the coverage area. Rapid access to equipment like automatic external defibrillators (AEDs), Narcan nasal spray and tourniquets can improve patient outcomes to adverse events.

The first-in-the-nation program speaks to the academic health care system’s drive to advance innovation and increase access to world-class health care for patients across the state. Learn more about the technology here.
