TGH opens new Cancer Institute center in Riverview

Tampa General Hospital and Cancer Center of South Florida are opening a new TGH Cancer Institute in Riverview, making higher levels of care more accessible.

TGH cancer specialists will provide appointments at the new office at 3140 S. Falkenburg Road. The center will offer eight infusion bays and one private room.

“Having served in several committees for national cancer organizations, I realized the importance of improving access to cancer care by bringing state-of-the-art and compassionate care close to home,” said Dr. Eduardo M. Sotomayor, TGH Cancer Institute director.

This is the second outpatient clinic from the CCSF and TGH partnership.
