This year’s Gasparilla Pirate Fest sets sail on Jan. 26. While locals gather at parade-day hot spots like Four Green Fields or Jackson’s Bistro, you don’t have to go with the flow.
Two less-traditional options for swashbucklers or scallywags for Gasparilla weekend:
– Gasparilla Barrr Crawl: Starts at 10 a.m. Jan. 26 with a brunch at Thee Tree House or District Tavern, followed by free bus transportation to bars with drink specials and prizes.
– Gasparilla JazzFEST: Spend Jan. 27 indulging in live jazz music and food truck bites, or go upscale and enjoy the event as a VIP.
