It’s Women’s History Month, and Working Women of Tampa Bay commemorated it by presenting Renée Vaughn with its Leadership Award for her numerous contributions to our community.
Vaughn is a Tampa icon who is a mentor to many people (including me) and serves on countless boards. A few of her involvements include Leadership Tampa Alumni, American Heart Association, Moffitt Merit Society, Dress for Success, Athena Society and Mary Lee’s House.
I admire her tireless enthusiasm for the causes and people she cares about. She continually seeks ways to make a positive impact and takes a personal interest in people.
