J.Crew, a classic clothing brand, is opening a new store in the Northeast Shopping Plaza at the corner of 4th Street and 38th Avenue North, according to St. Pete Rising.
It will include about 5,000 square feet in space previously occupied by Play It Again Sports.
The company hasn’t said which of its brands – J.Crew, Madewell or J.Crew Factory – but St. Pete Rising speculates it will likely be a factory store, which offers a more affordable version of the original brand. Factory stores are located throughout the region, but there’s only one J.Crew store, in International Plaza.
