The Valspar Championship Week gets underway at 8 a.m. Tuesday as the field of professional golfers play practice rounds on the demanding Copperhead course at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor.
All kids can attend the Louisiana Hot Sauce Junior Clinic on the pro driving range at 3:30 p.m. Special needs kids can participate in the ReliaQuest All-Star Kids Clinic at 4:30.
After the Tampa General Hospital Championship Pro-Am on Wednesday, the main event—the four-day championship tournament – begins on Thursday.
Sam Burns is the defending Valspar champion. He shot a 17-under 267 last year, one shot shy of the tournament record.
