Quarterback Tom Brady will be on the field Saturday night when the Buccaneers open the abbreviated three-game preseason schedule against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“Everybody will play,” Bucs Coach Bruce Arians said. That could include rookie quarterback and second-round draft choice Kyle Trask. Brady won’t be out there long, though. Arians said he might play only a series or two.
Cincinnati’s second-year quarterback Joe Burrow will not play. The Bengals are being cautious with him as he recovers from a serious knee injury last season.
The NFL reduced the preseason to three games this year, but added a 17th regular-season game.
