Several former Senate colleagues and a U.S. Representative are endorsing Janet Cruz for Tampa City Council District 3.
Sens. Lauren Book, Lori Berman, Tina Polsky, Linda Stewart, Shevrin Jones, Darryl Rouson, Geraldine Thompson and Tracie Davis; former Sens. Arthenia Joyner, Loranne Ausley and Perry Thurston; and U.S. Rep. Jared Moskowitz endorsed Cruz Tuesday.
“Janet Cruz has always been a fierce advocate for the people of Tampa,” Book, the Senate Minority Leader, said. “She has a deep understanding of the issues facing our community and I have no doubt she will continue to fight for our residents on City Council.”
