Don’t get scammed by fake event tickets

It happens over and over. People snag amazing event tickets online – only to get to the gate and find out the tickets were fake.

Protect yourself when purchasing tickets with these three tips:

– Buy from licensed sellers. Take the safe route through the venue’s official box office or well-known ticket exchange companies like Ticketmaster, StubHub, NFL Ticket Exchange, and NBATickets.com.

– Avoid buying from a stranger on the street. There is no way to know if a ticket is fake by looking at it.

– Read terms closely before buying. Check out the refund policy and shipping details.
