If you had a blast at the Tampa Bay Comic Con, you’ll love Gulfport’s annual GeckoFest on Sept. 1.
This year’s GeckoFest theme is “GeckoCon” – a celebration of superheroes, villains and other famous movie and TV characters, with plenty of pop culture décor.
Guests are encouraged to dress up for the one-day festival, with a chance to win a costume contest for a trophy and bragging rights. Expect to see folks dressed as characters like Batman, Captain America and Spiderman.
Some of the ticket proceeds benefit the Gulfport Multipurpose Senior Center Foundation and the Sonia Plotnick Health Fund.
