Craft beer meets ancient art this month at The Beer Project at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. Brewers of all stripes are crafting small-batch beers inspired by ancient mosaics specially for the occasion. Tickets for each day (including 2-day passes) are on sale.
July 19 features the St. Pete Home Brew Club’s ancient art-inspired beers, with a talk on ancient brewing traditions.
July 20 showcases beers from USF St. Petersburg Brewing Arts students with local breweries including Green Bench, Flying Boat, Mastry’s Brewing, 3 Daughters and Rapp Brewing, and a lesson on ancient drinking games.
