Dariy Pankov is being held at the Pinellas County jail as he awaits trial on federal charges in Tampa of conspiracy, access device fraud and computer fraud, according to the Tampa Bay Times

Pankov was arrested in the Republic of Georgia in October and extradited.

The charges are pending in Tampa because at least two of the victims are Florida law firms, though neither are named in court records, the Times reports.

The indictment alleges Pankov developed malware to steal computer logins, which were then allegedly sold for profit. Federal prosecutors claim Pankov made more than $350,000 from the scheme.
