Greater Tampa Realtors is endorsing Janet Cruz in her race for Tampa City Council, District 3, the group announced Wednesday.
“Janet Cruz has a proven track record of working to improve the lives of Tampa residents,” Greater Tampa Realtors President Jay Quigley said. “She understands the importance of a vibrant real estate market and its role in the city’s economy. With her experience and dedication to the community, we are confident she will make an excellent addition to the City Council.”
Cruz, a former state Senator, faces several challengers in the race, including incumbent Lynn Hurtak.
The election is March 7.
