What your pediatrician may not tell you

Pediatricians are excellent resources for caring for your baby. But they may not share ways to avoid 100% preventable child deaths. Tips to prevent needless deaths:

– Children can drown silently and in as little as 20 seconds. Designate a “water watcher” to supervise kids in or near water.

– Babies can easily suffocate in an adult bed. The safest way for infants to sleep is Alone, on their Backs and in a Crib.

– It is normal for babies to cry. If you need a break, place the baby safely in the crib and take time to calm down.
