The industrial real estate market is expected to stay red hot along the Interstate 4 corridor from Tampa to Lakeland to Orlando, and developers are looking north to Ocala and east to the Space Coast for land to develop into manufacturing and distribution centers.
Those were big takeaways from the recent Colliers International Central Florida Industrial Summit, where a group of high-level owners, developers and brokers talked about industry trends.
The Ocala market is appealing for its central location and strong labor force. On the Space Coast, opportunities are being driven by private companies pioneering a new “space race.”
