You may feel like you’ve seen the latest trends in home bathroom design, and you have, but in hotels.
Designers are using high-end hotels and spas as inspiration for home bathrooms. They’re increasingly using clean, monochromatic themes in home bathrooms, with the idea of creating a peaceful feeling, as if the bathroom is a sanctuary within the home.
Two ways to recreate this feeling in home bathroom design:
– Place large, walk-in showers or tubs in the middle of the room.
– Choose classic black-and-white or blue-and-white patterns for flooring, along with small tiles and backsplashes.
