Lennar’s Tampa division president to step down

After nearly two decades with national homebuilder Lennar, the company’s Tampa President Mark Metheny is stepping down, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Metheny’s last day with the company is July 12.

Stepping up to fill his void on an interim basis is Regional President Fred Rothman. Metheny is already working with Lennar on a leadership transition.

Lennar is the largest homebuilder in the Tampa Bay region by far, with 2019 revenue in the region set at $1.5 billion.

Lennar homes in the Tampa Bay region range from $170,000 to $1 million, according to the Business Journal.
