After selling his waterfront home for $16 million, Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos has purchased another in the same neighborhood — but, at half the price.
Stamkos paid $8.35 million for the home at Bahama Circle in a sale closed Sept. 3. The 5,665-square-feet home has five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, a pool and an elevator, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
The sellers paid $3.4 million for the home in 2017, the same year it wrapped up construction.
The purchase comes after Stamkos sold his former home, which was the third-highest in Hillsborough County so far in 2021.
