A Miami-based developer has reached an agreement that ensures the Congregation Rodeph Sholom can stay at its home as plans for a new, neighboring development remain on Bayshore Boulevard.
The proposed luxury condominium building will be built on the land that occupies the Synagogue’s preschool and parking lot. The proposal includes a new terrace at the synagogue, improvements to the front lawn and 50-60 new residential units currently occupied by Synagogue’s preschool and parking lot.
The partnership ensures the historic synagogue will have a permanent home on Bayshore Boulevard. The developer plans to close on the property in January of 2024.
