Skyway Lofts to open 65 affordable housing units in St. Petersburg

by The 100 Companies

Skyway Lofts will provide 65 affordable housing units in south St. Petersburg, which started last Friday.

The apartments, located at 3900 34th St. S., will serve residents earning less than 80 percent of the median area income. Most of the units will be priced at $762 per month for a one-bedroom unit and $901 for a two-bedroom unit.

SkyWay Lofts marks the first new construction community completed in St. Pete by Blue Sky Communities.

“With energy-efficient features in each unit, these homes will offer tenants additional opportunities to keep more of their hard-earned paychecks.” said St. Petersburg Mayor Ken Welch.
