Students at IDEA Public Schools got closer than ever to medicine and aviation careers as a thundering medical helicopter touched down on their campus, kicking off a memorable Career Day.
Students toured Tampa General Hospital’s Aeromed helicopter and met inspiring professionals in fields from accounting to zoology at IDEA Victory, a public charter school located in an area of North Tampa surrounded by persistently low-performing schools.
As a nationwide network, nearly 100% of IDEA’s graduates have been accepted to college in the past 16 years. IDEA Public Schools currently has four Tampa Bay schools on two campuses, serving 1,600 students.
