From win streaks to copious homers, the Tampa Bay Rays can’t stop making history this season.
The latest feat: The Rays now have 10 players with at least five home runs each this season – the only in history to reach that milestone before hitting the 50-game mark in the season, according to ESPN Stats and Info.
They did it with seven games to spare.
After an 8-5 victory over the New York Mets on their home turf, the Rays are now 32-11 for the season and remain the top-ranked team in Major League Baseball.
What record will they break next?
