A little less than halfway through the USL Championship season, the Tampa Bay Rowdies are hitting their stride. The Rowdies are unbeaten in their last six matches, including a 1-1 home draw on Saturday against the top team in the league, Sacramento Republic FC.
As the old saying goes, there are draws and there are draws. Saturday’s performance was positive for Tampa Bay in several ways. Sacramento had scored three goals or more in five of their first 12 matches. The Rowdies held the visitors to just a lone goal.
It could be a preview of the USL Championship Finals.
