USF softball on a roll as conference tournament looms

by The 100 Companies

The USF softball team completed its regular season in style Sunday, defeating Memphis 3-0 to run the Bulls’ winning streak to six games.

Georgina Corrick allowed only two hits and struck out 10 in running her record to 34-5. She was the winning pitcher in all six games during USF’s recent run.

They travel to Greenville, North Carolina Thursday to begin play in the American Athletic Conference tournament.

USF finished with a 42-13 record, including 12-5 in conference play. The Bulls finished in third.

The tournament winner receives an automatic NCAA bid, but USF should receive a bid regardless.
