The USF football team returns to action Thursday night with a game at East Carolina. The Bulls are coming off a strong performance as they routed American Athletic Conference rival Temple 34-14 on Saturday.
USF rushed for a school record 421 yards, including 152 yards and two touchdowns by Jaren Mangham. Teammate Kelley Joiner ran for 126 yards and a touchdown.
The victory snapped a 13-game AAC losing streak for the Bulls, who are now 2-5 overall this season.
“I expected them to play this way (Saturday) today because of the way they’ve stuck together,” Head Coach Jeff Scott said.
