AP ranks USF women’s basketball No. 21 in preseason poll

The USF women’s basketball team is ranked 21st in the nation in the preseason Associated Press poll. The Bulls are the only non-Power 5 conference team to make the poll.

USF has an ambitious schedule this season. They have scheduled games with Tennessee, Syracuse and defending national champion Stanford. USF could also play this year’s top-ranked team, South Carolina, and second-ranked UConn in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament set in the Bahamas.

West Virginia and Mississippi are also on the schedule in the West Palm Invitational.
USF is the preseason No. 1 pick to win the American Athletic Conference championship.
