The University of South Florida football team will hold its first full practice Thursday as the Bulls seek to rebound from a 1-8 season.

Head coach Jeff Scott welcomed 118 players to camp, nearly double what they had at times during the pandemic-plagued 2020 season.

They face a challenging non-conference schedule, starting on Sept. 2 at North Carolina State followed by the Florida Gators in Tampa Sept. 11.

Other non-conference opponents include Florida A&M and Brigham Young. They also have a home game on Nov. 12 against defending American Athletic Conference champion Cincinnati.

This is USF’s 25th season of college football.
