USF lands new wide receiver coach

The University of South Florida announced Bobby Bentley joined the school’s football staff as wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator, a key offensive position.

Bentley spent the last five seasons at the University of South Carolina, where he coached running backs and tight ends, also crucial elements to offensive strategy. He also served as head coach at Presbyterian College from 2007 until 2008.

Bentley was also a highly successful high school head coach in South Carolina. Nike named him high school coach of the year in 2005.

He was named a Rivals Top 25 recruiter for his 2019 class.
