Is Your HOA Doing Its Job?

If you’re part of a homeowners’ association, it’s important for you to know that the HOA is doing its job.

After all, if the HOA isn’t spending your fees wisely, odds are your community isn’t being kept up the way it should be.

If you have questions:

– Ask for the HOA’s financial report to see if anything doesn’t match up. For example, if $250,000 is spent on landscaping, is that reasonable?

– Go to HOA meetings to see if the board is acting in a thoughtful way.

– Speak up: You have every right to know how your fees are spent.
