Pasco Tax Collector offices collect over $13,000 for Fostering Change

by Margaret Willard

During the month of March, the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Offices collected $13,179 in donations for Fostering Change Foster Closet. The Land O’ Lakes nonprofit provides foster children with clothing, personal care supplies and even food.

“It was truly a pleasure to play a small part in the success of this fine organization,” said Pasco Tax Collector Mike Fasano.

In the Suncoast region, about 3,900 children enter foster care each year.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” said George Agovino, founder of Fostering Change Foster Closet. “Our community gives hope to children and families when they feel there was none.”
